The service. GlowSkin ("the app") is provided by Allison Chuang. It helps you track your skin with photos, AI-generated scores and tips, and an assistant you can ask questions.
Not medical advice. The app's scores, tips, plans and chat replies are general skincare information generated by an AI model. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and can be wrong. Consult a dermatologist or doctor for any skin concern, before starting prescription treatments, and for anything painful, spreading or persistent. Do not delay or disregard professional advice because of something in the app.
Your account. You need to be at least 16 to use GlowSkin. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code; keep access to that number secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Your content. Photos, notes and messages you add stay yours. You give us permission to process them to provide the service. We do not use them for advertising or to train models.
Your consent to processing photos and health information. GlowSkin only works by analysing photos of your face and skin together with the skin, routine and, if you turn it on, Apple Health information (sleep and workouts) that you add. Before you can use the app you are asked to accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. By accepting, you give your explicit consent for us and our service providers, including the AI analysis service that scores your photos and answers your questions, to process your face photos and this skin and health information for the sole purpose of providing GlowSkin to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. GlowSkin never reads or sends menstrual or reproductive health data. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting individual photos or deleting your account in Settings; the app cannot work without it.
Premium. GlowSkin Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID: $9.99 per month or $84.99 per year, prices may vary by region. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. Free features include a 3-day Progress trial and 3 assistant questions.
Acceptable use. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, use the app to harass anyone, try to break or overload the service, or reverse engineer it.
Availability. We may change, pause or discontinue features, and we may limit usage (for example daily analysis limits) to keep the service running. We try to keep your data safe but cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Disclaimers and liability. The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Termination. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Governing law. California, USA. Disputes go to the courts there unless the law requires otherwise.
